Tour Overview
A long-format hill tour for travellers who want to see Himachal Pradesh properly rather than rush through it: two nights each in Shimla and Manali, a day trip into the Parvati Valley at Manikaran, a swing west to Dharamshala, and a finale at Amritsar with the Wagah Border retreat ceremony.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Day at Leisure in Delhi
A free day to rest after your journey or explore Delhi at your own pace before the drive into the hills. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Shimla
After breakfast, drive about 345 km to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh and once the summer capital of British India, set at over 2,000 m among pine-covered hills. Dinner and overnight in Shimla.

Day 4: Kufri & Shimla Sightseeing
A half-day excursion to Kufri and its Himalayan viewpoints, followed by local sightseeing in Shimla. Dinner and overnight in Shimla.

Drive on through the Kullu valley along the Beas to Manali. Dinner and overnight in Manali.

Day 6: Manali & Solang Valley
Local sightseeing in Manali and a visit to the Solang Valley, the base for Himachal's snow and adventure activities. Dinner and overnight in Manali.

Day 7: Manikaran Day Trip
A full-day excursion into the Parvati Valley to Manikaran, known for its hot springs and its Sikh and Hindu shrines. Return to Manali for dinner and overnight.

Drive from Manali to Dharamshala and rest for the evening. Dinner and overnight in Dharamshala.

Day 9: Dharamshala Sightseeing
A full day in Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, home of the Tibetan government-in-exile, at a very different pace from the Kullu valley. Dinner and overnight in Dharamshala.

Day 10: Dharamshala to Amritsar
Drive down to Amritsar and, depending on arrival time, head to the Wagah Border for the evening retreat ceremony. Dinner and overnight in Amritsar.

Day 11: Amritsar to Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Before You Book
Air conditioning is switched off on the hill sections (Shimla, Manali, Manikaran and Dharamshala) and works normally on the plains. Booking is confirmed with a 20% advance, with the balance payable during the trip. If you cancel, the refund is made after a retention amount, and we share the exact terms with your quote.
