Three days is the shortest sensible way to see all three cities. It works because the distances are kind — Delhi to Agra on the expressway, Agra to Jaipur in about four hours with Fatehpur Sikri on the way, and Jaipur back to Delhi in an afternoon.

Arrive in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure — rest, or take in Qutub Minar, the Lotus Temple and India Gate if your flight lands early. Overnight in Delhi.

The Taj Mahal & Agra, on to Jaipur
An early start for the Taj Mahal at first light — around 5:30 AM in summer, 6:30 AM in winter — when the marble is at its softest and the crowds thinnest. Breakfast afterwards, then Agra Fort. After lunch, the four-hour drive to Jaipur, broken by Fatehpur Sikri. Evening check-in and overnight in Jaipur.
Taj Mahal The white marble mausoleum on the bank of the Yamuna, commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Jaipur Sightseeing & Return to Delhi
After breakfast, a guided tour of Rajasthan's capital — India's most colourful city. Amber Fort first, then the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal. In the evening, the transfer back to Delhi, to your airport or hotel as your schedule requires.

What time do we see the Taj Mahal?
At first light — around 5:30 AM in summer, 6:30 AM in winter. Remember the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so we build the itinerary around that.
How long is the drive from Agra to Jaipur?
About four hours, broken by Fatehpur Sikri and optionally the Chand Baori stepwell at Abhaneri.
