Tour Overview
This is our longest and most complete Rajasthan circuit. Mandawa's painted havelis, the forts of Bikaner and Jodhpur, the dunes of Jaisalmer, the lakes of Udaipur and the temples of Ranakpur and Pushkar lead on to Jaipur's palaces, a tiger safari at Ranthambore and the Taj Mahal at Agra.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi
Old and New Delhi: the Red Fort, a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's lanes, Gandhi Smriti, India Gate, the President's Palace, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Laxmi Narayan Temple, with an optional stop at Chandni Chowk's spice market. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Mandawa
Drive to Mandawa, a fort town in the Shekhawati region known for its heritage havelis and fresco art. Afternoon visit to Mandawa Castle, once a station on the old trade routes and now a heritage hotel. Overnight in Mandawa.

Day 4: Mandawa to Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner for Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, the Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum and the Bhandasar Jain Temple. Overnight in Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Drive to the golden city of Jaisalmer. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Desert Safari
The 12th-century Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake and the carved havelis — Nathmal-ki-Haveli, Patwon-ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-ki-Haveli — then an afternoon excursion to the sand dunes for a camel safari. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 7: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Drive to the blue city of Jodhpur. Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and the Clock Tower with its Sardar Market, known for handicrafts. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 8: Jodhpur Sightseeing
Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, and Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph built in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 9: Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur
Drive to Udaipur, stopping at the Ranakpur temples — among the most extensive Jain temple complexes in India, carved from white marble. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing
A city tour of the City of Lakes: a boat ride on Lake Pichola, the City Palace on its banks, the island palaces of Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas, the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon ki Bari and Sajjangarh, the Monsoon Palace. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 11: Udaipur to Pushkar
Drive to the holy town of Pushkar, with its Brahma Temple and the ghats around Pushkar Lake. Overnight in Pushkar.

Day 12: Pushkar to Jaipur
Morning in Pushkar, then drive about 150 km to Jaipur. Evening free for the bazaars. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 13: Jaipur Sightseeing
Amber Fort, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, with time to shop for local handicrafts. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 14: Jaipur to Ranthambore
About a three-and-a-half-hour drive to Ranthambore, followed by an afternoon jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park. Overnight in Ranthambore.

Morning safari, then drive to Agra for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, with a look at Agra's traditional marble inlay work. Overnight in Agra.

Day 16: Agra to Delhi & Departure
Drive back to Delhi and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends.
