Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Nainital
Your driver picks you up in Delhi for the drive to Nainital. Gajraula, roughly halfway along the route, is the usual stop for a break. As you climb into the hills, the cool breeze and scenery leave city life behind. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 2: Nainital, Bhimtal and Sattal
After breakfast your car and driver are ready for a day among the lakes. Visit Bhimtal and Sattal, then return to Nainital for the zoo, a boat ride on Naini Lake and shopping on Mall Road. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 3: Mukteshwar Day Trip
Drive into the Kumaon hills to Mukteshwar to see the ancient Mukteshwar temple, an old hill church and a viewpoint over the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Return to Nainital for the night.

Day 4: Nainital to Jim Corbett
Drive around 65 km to Jim Corbett National Park, home to a remarkable range of birds, animals and reptiles. After check-in, visit the Dhangarhi Museum and Corbett Falls. Overnight stay at Corbett.

Day 5: Jim Corbett Jungle Safari
Start early with a jeep safari into the national park, looking for the Bengal tiger, Asian elephants and a wide variety of birds and plants. Safaris are run by the park and must be booked in advance; your car takes you to the park but does not go inside. Later you can add river rafting, then spend the evening on the banks of the Kosi River or at the Garjiya Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati.

Day 6: Jim Corbett to Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi with memories that will last. If you skipped the Gajraula stop on the way up, you can make it on the way home.
