Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi
Take a morning tour of Old Delhi: the Red Fort, an Old Delhi rickshaw ride, Gandhi Smriti, India Gate, the President's Palace, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Laxmi Narayan Temple. You can also visit Chandni Chowk and the spice market. Overnight stay in New Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Mandawa
After breakfast, drive about 270 km to the charming town of Mandawa. Founded in 1755, it still keeps its havelis and mansions from that time, a showcase of old-world architecture. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

Day 4: Mandawa to Gajner via Bikaner
After breakfast, head for quaint Gajner, visiting the colourful desert city of Bikaner on the way. The rest of the day is for relaxing. Overnight stay in Gajner.

Day 5: Gajner to Khuri
Visit the Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary to spot its animals, then continue to the desert village of Khuri. Take a camel ride over the Khuri sand dunes and enjoy cultural performances in the evening. Overnight stay in Khuri.

Day 6: Khuri to Rohetgarh
Drive to Rohetgarh. The royal family now lives in a nearby property but is still very much involved: they enjoy meeting guests and run a highly acclaimed stable of Marwari horses. Overnight stay in Rohetgarh.

Day 7: Rohetgarh to Ranakpur
Drive to Ranakpur and visit its tranquil Jain temple, magnificently carved from white marble. Overnight stay in Ranakpur.

Day 8: Ranakpur to Bijaipur via Chittorgarh
After an early breakfast, set off for the old-world village of Bijaipur. On the way, visit the fairy-tale Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. Overnight stay in Bijaipur.

Day 9: Bijaipur to Bundi
After a leisurely breakfast, tour rustic Bijaipur village, then drive to picturesque Bundi, the town said to have inspired Rudyard Kipling while he wrote Kim. Arrive by afternoon to visit Taragarh Fort, an imposing 14th-century fort on a steep hill, and wander the colourful local market. Overnight stay in Bundi.

Day 10: Bundi to Samode
After an early breakfast, drive to the village of Samode for a village tour and a look at the old havelis of the region. Overnight stay in Samode.

Day 11: Samode to Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi to end your journey through the villages of Rajasthan.
